Great time at our Open House! We got a whole new group of kids stoked on skateboarding, and had a chance to share our underlying mission with their parents and caregivers.
Watching the excitement of people having their first skateboarding experience never gets old. Kids tend to learn pretty quickly, and within the first 20 minutes we had them pushing, kick-turning, and a few even dropped in on the small quarter-pipe! They also learned how important it is to work as team and support each other, in victory as well as failure.
We can’t wait for the next one! Thanks to all who came, @cobsdanforth for the awesome snacks, and especially the amazing crew volunteers!
